Description
BL ♂: 4.8-5.3 mm; ♀: 5.3-5.8 mm. Head, pro- and mesonotum light or darkbrown. Mesonotum usually laterally darkened. Forewings hyaline, with dark markings. Phallosoma on the left with a small triangular process and two movable spines, both apically pointing upwards. On the right side with a larger triangular process and two movable spines which are also both pointing upwards apically. Female abdomen truncate with a wax plate which is divided in two parts by a median keel (which is characteristic voor the genus Apartus). (Holzinger, 2002)
Ecology
Adults can be found in thermophilic pine forests in spring. (Holzinger, 2002)
Distribution
This species is endemic to the southern limestone Alps and is known from Austria, Italy and Slovenia. (Holzinger, 2002)
