Ecology

According to Dlabola (1977), a species that's found on Salix and Populus in wet valleys. 

Distribution

Described from Bosnia and Herzegovina (Horváth, 1907). Further recorded from Bulgaria (Emeljanov et al., 2002), Cyprus (Dlabola, 1977)

Notes

Anufriev (1966) described Malenia turanica Anufriev, 1966 from Tadjikistan, which was later synonymised with Malenia bosnica (Horváth, 1907) by Dlabola (1977).
