Description
BL ♂: 3.8-4.4 mm; ♀: 4.4-4.7 mm. Face, vertex, pro- and mesonotum brownish, keels lighter. Median keel on clypeus incomplete. Fore wings hyaline or brownish, with or without dark spots. Phallosoma tubular, in some specimens with one or two small teeth ventrally. One movable spine on the right and two on the left side. Apical part of the aedeagus bearing a slender tooth at the right side. Female abdomen apically truncate, without wax-plate. Ductus ejaculatorius with twelve windings. Receptaculum seminis very short. Ecology
Known from thermophilic forests. Adults can be found in early spring. (Holzinger, 2002).
Distribution
According to Holzinger (2002) and Nast (1972) it is a Western Mediterranean species, known from Morroco, Spain, Portugal, southern France and central Italy.
